Rodney passed away on 4/30/2003. 
Rodney was diagnosed with brain cancer in the fall of 2001.  He put up a good battle.

Rodney's wife, Susan, wrote: 

I have some sad news. Rodney passed away on Wednesday, Apr. 30, 2003 at
3:45 pm. He went quickly and peacefully surrounded by his family. He
didn't seem to suffer at all; he was sleeping and just quit breathing.

Rodney's funeral will be Saturday, May 3, 2003 at 2 PM at Harrell
Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX 78745. We will have
visitation Friday, May 2, 2003 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial
will be in Austin Memorial Cemetery. Our home address is: 4505 Yellow
Rose Trail, Austin, TX 78749.
