Scott Thomas Ulrich

Scott Thomas Ulrich was born on March 19, 1950 in Sherman, Texas and passed away on September 3, 2016 in Plano, Texas. Scott was a Christian man of great faith. He loved his family very much and will be sorely missed. We can look forward to the day we will be together in Heaven. In his younger days, Scott was involved with the Sierra Club and several Dance Clubs. Scott was an excellent dancer and it was his favorite thing to do. Scott and his wife, Melody, met late in life and spent 23 Happy years together. They were Blessed to be able to travel all over the US and Europe. Their favorite trip was to Israel where the Bible really came to life. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Van Ulrich and Tommie Ruth Ulrich. Scott is survived by his wife, Melody Moore Ulrich; 3 step-children, Hal Wilson, Marnie Mullins and David Wilson; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Van Ulrich Jr. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. The service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 12:30 PM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sierra Club or St. Andrew United Methodist Church Seven Loaves Ministry.
