Ronald ?Dusty? ?Bumpy? Rhoads

Sherman- Funeral services for Ronald Allen Rhoads will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 12 at Waldo Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Peel of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at West Hill Cemetery. Mr. Rhoads passed away Wednesday, April 7 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center at the age of 60.

Ronald was born on February 21, 1950 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Russell and Jeannette (Godshall) Rhoads. Ronald graduated from Sherman High School in 1968 where he enjoyed playing football. He attended the University of Texas - Austin, graduating in 1973 with a business degree. Mr. Rhoads worked as a real estate appraiser and enjoyed sailing, boating, and riding motorcycles in his free time. He was also a very loyal customer of Starbucks.

Mr. Rhoads is survived by two sons, Grant Rhoads of Dallas and Ian Rhoads of San Marcos; parents, Col. Russell A. and Jeannette F. Rhoads of Sherman; sister, Sandra Robinson and husband, Edward, of Sherman; and the mother of his children, Margaret Rhoads of Dallas. He was preceded in death by a sister, Billie Jean ?BJ? Dawson and a brother, Kenneth Rhoads.
