Oscar died on 6/7/2004 after a lengthy illness.

SHERMAN - Funeral services for Oscar M. Hudspeth, 52, of Sherman, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Sherman. He died June 7, 2004 in Sherman.

Rev. Freddie A. Cason will officiate. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

Boyd, Smith, White Mortuary of Sherman is in charge of arrangements.

He was born February 19, 1951 in Longview, Texas to Oscar and Kathryn Hudspeth. He attended Fred Douglas and Sherman High School. He married Clarice Jackson in September 19, 1970 in Sherman. He was a machine operator at Johnson and Johnson for 28 years. He was a member of Greater New Hope Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be friends.

Visitation will be Friday at the Funeral home 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Survivors are his wife Clarice Hudspeth of Sherman; one daughter, Cathryn Hudspeth of Sherman; one son, Larry Jackson of Chicago, Illinois.
