Robert probably died in August 1978.  Exact date is not known

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Dannel and Horton Funeral Chapel for Robert Eugene Hertzog, 28, with Rev. Clyde Causey of Glad Tiding Assembly of God Church officiating.

Mr. Hertzog was kidnapped Aug. 10 from a motorcycle clubhouse located north of Denison.  His body was found Oct. 5 near Rubottom, Okla.  Investigators are looking for three unidentified suspects, and are trying to determine the cause of death.

Born ar Perrin Air Force Base, he was the son of Harold Eugene and Dean Hunter Hertzog.  He was a 1968 graduate of Sherman High School and a 1972 graduate of East Texas State University.  He was married to Susan Kromas on Nov. 21, 1977 at Denison and was a member of Forest Ave. Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife; mother, Mrs. Dean Hertzog of Sherman; father, Gene Hertzog of Boise, Idaho; and a sister, Peggy Hertzog of Naragansett, R.I.
