Carlton Chamberlain

Carlton died on 8/18/1992

Carlton Earl Chamberlain was born February 10, 1950 in Sherman, Texas to his proud parents, Childs and Nina Chamberlain.  He received his formal education in Shreman and graduated from Sherman High School in 1968.

After moving to San Diego, Carton worked for the Sharp and Paradise Valley Hospitals. Later, he relocated to Los Angeles and was employed by the Los Angeles Children's Hospital as a Operating Room Othopedic Technician.  He enjoyed the job of helping children and maintained this position for more than 13 years.

On Tuesday, August 18, 1992, just after 7:00 a.m., the Lord called Carton home to rest.  He leaves behind to mourn his mother, Nina Chamberlain of Sherman, Texas; five sisters, Pearline Hughley and LaJuana Scruggs, both of Sherman, Texas; Nina Fennell of Corpus Christi, Texas; and Thelma Chamerlain and Joy Tucker, both of San Diego; three brothers, Joe and George Chamberlain, both of San Diego; and David Chamberlain of Hawaii; sister-in-law, Charlette Chamberlain and Mary Ann Chamberlain, both of San Diego; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Carlton will be truly missed by the many people he touched along the way.  To know him was to love him.

Carlton, I love you so much and will miss you more than I can say.  You are very special to me and our closeness will forever be but God has a better place for you.  I love you.  Your sister, Joy
